That was a disgrace. Thought the new generation might not be as scared, and crap under pressure, despite not being as good. I guess I was wrong.

Roy is a prick!I'm glad he's gone.

We went into this tournament still not knowing our best formation, team tactics etc.

Not good enough I'm afraid!

Maybe this is why UE haven't had this section before. Some people have no perspective. If only your own nation gave you as much joy then you wouldn't have to hang on England's clear ineptitude.

Intelligent reply. When you claim last night was the 'best day of my life' I know I've won the debate already. Pathetic.

You were aware of what 'I' thought of England's chances of winning the Euros then, I assume?? Or is your racist attitude towards the fans of my nation clouding your ability to realise that not all England fans are the same..... Jog on!

All lot of people are angry at the way England went out, and some non Englishmen may be amused. Fine. But let's keep things civil.

I'm not angry I'm happy. People just can't take a laugh.

I am not in any way, shape or form deluded, I said last night that it says a lot about me as a passionate English football fan that I wasn't in the least bit surprised we went out, and even worse that it didn't bother me..... I can also take a joke, and banter... I have a few Scottish friends who have been ribbing me since last night.... That was 'a laugh' - you're just antagonising people!!

When people are angry that their team performed ridiculously below par, for the 10th tournament in a row, they may be less inclined to have a laugh.

Again, lets keep things civil.

I'd like to see Glen Hoddle give it a go again with his backroom team of psychics

At least he knows a bit about how to play football

Out of the top 10 in the betting I'd say Eddie Howe, although none of them inspire much confidence!!

Gus Hiddink for me.

The logic behind picking an Englishmen is beyond me. English rugby and cricket teams both saw sence in picking the best man for the job and its paid dividends with the cricket side reaching a final and rugby union winning the 6 nations and beating the Aussies down under.

Just had that exact conversation at lunch, 74 now but well and healthy would have a couple of years in him and the very least would galvanise the side and make them fight for each other

He would play the players on their performances as well not the team they play for like some in the squad. Would love to see him have a crack at it if only for the World Cup

I'd go with Eddie Howe. Young and plays attacking football and gets the most out of what he's got.
