When asking for a swap deal involving one of your players, is it ok to ask for a player in another game.

For instance if I approach a manger in game 118 for a top player and he/she/they replies I need (player) from game 119.

Is that in the spirit of the game?

Asking due to recent experience

Lol who's been doing this? Game is rapidly going downhill. Cheats need to be banned from the game depsite how much money they are paying or how long they have been in the game

Not in my book. Each game is separate, therefore one deal is separate to the other and should not be held for leverage in another game!!!

Totally agree mate some right remorseless gimps in the game that are so preoccupied by getting to a level they could never get to without cheating

This is a PBM , something we should all be able to enjoy in our own way. If people need to cheat in ANY way, it speaks more about who they really are. It’s an enjoyable hobby of mine & enjoy it very much & find it very embarrassing to find that cheating in a PBM actually happens.

Yeah it’s cheating I’m afraid. Originally I didn’t think it was, but been made aware of what exactly was said.

The lad in question admitted it was him in chat, kudos for doing that and he fought his own corner. A couple managers agreed with the culprit saying they think it’s ok, a few said it wasn’t with majority saying nothing.

Personally unless the messages are down for all to see it’s hard to give an accurate opinion. Just add the culprit to the Harry Redknapp manager category next to Fyffe & Jay and all move on leaving it to Ben.

My own thoughts...

You could look at it both ways.

1. A manager has two teams in different games, he pays money, he can do whatever deals he likes. They're his teams.
2. Could be looked at stripping 1 team to boost another which has a negative effect on the game the stripped team belongs to. Ruining the experience for others.

Suppose in the end its hard to monitor so it's very unlikely to be stopped regardless of belief.

I haven't seen the exact details of the arrangement.
However, it might be as simple as two cash deals in two different games. Presumably, both deals will have satisfied the UE checks? There would be nothing untoward in this scenario.

If I approach a manager in 122 to do a deal and during discussion turns out we can do a deal in 121 there's no problem with that.

If I offer a player in 121 to swing a deal in 122 then yes this is cheating

If deals are both workable to get past computer is irrelevant it's the reason for the deal that counts
