The following SAs will be added when Game 122 is launched. Those that can be bought with UE points will be able to be purchased in older games as well.


Selfish (Sel)

A player who is has an eye for goal, but not for much else. Will focus on goal scoring opportunities for himself, sometimes at the expense of what might be best for the team.

Costs 3 to buy, costs 5 to remove.


Inconsistent (Inc)

Is more prone to performing below his usual level, and to making more mistakes than most players.

Costs 5 to remove, but there is a chance it could fade away by itself at the end of a season.


Long shot specialist (Lss)

Someone who can produce a tremendous amount of power when striking the ball and is very dangerous when shooting from long range.

Can't be bought


Man Marker (Mar)

A Man Marking specialists who revels in the task of marking his opponent, and excels when you are using the 'Man Marking' tactic

Costs 6, requires Agg and Tac of 8.


Anticipation (Ant)

Is able to anticipate and react faster to danger and to potential opportunities.

Costs 6, requires Jud of 8

Hi Ben,

It may be worth showing the top end calibre of players each club is likely to have, that was we can better present potential SAs.

Otherwise I'd imagine someone bidding for Juve will inundate you with SAs for Trezequet, Nedved, Del Piero etc...

For example, just state a few from various clubs ...

I.e.

Arsenal - Ray Parlour
Liverpool - Steve Nichol
Man Utd - Nicky Butt
Charlton - ??????

Am looking for suggestions for all players, from the best in the world, to lower league inconsistent error prone CBs. Not just those that might be in a team someone is bidding for.

Whenever new special abilities are added there lots of players who would be a great match for certain SAs. Some spring to mind, but there are 1000s of player to go through, it's an area I could use help with. It's good to see how other managers interpret the new SAs and who they think should have them, and who shouldn't. The more feedback the better.

Just a few ideas from me Ben, can only base on players I've seen regularly -

LSS - Steven Gerrard, John Arne Riise, Laurent Robert, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Juninho Pernambucano, maybe Shearer?
Anticipation - Virgil Van Dijk, Ricardo Carvalho, Rio Ferdinand, Vincent Kompany, Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole, Fabinho, Fernandinho, Frank Lampard, Filippo Inzaghi, Fernando Torres
Man Marking - John Terry, Tony Adams
Inconsistent - Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren, Jordan Henderson in his younger days, Andre Gray (absolutely pants most weeks and then 1 week of quality), a fair amount of 'flair' players could fit this category as well I'd imagine
Selfish - Andriy Shevchenko maybe?

I've wrote about 60 odd players names down for the club I've bid on. If I get them then I will put next to them what if possible SA I'd like them have and if they are tall enough to have hei put on them aswell plus put down what position they play RB CB pl ect.

Once the auction has finished I'll contact all managers and will tell them if I need help adding players to that squad. A lot of teams are very well populated already from when the previous legends game 119 was set up. I won't be asking for SA recommendations then, apart from HEI if the player is tall enough. If you want to make suggestions you can, but be aware that not many will be used as I want SAs to be relatively sparse at the start of the game, and fairly consistent across all starting teams.

In this thread I'm really only looking for SA suggestions for the 5 new SAs.

Two points for me Ben if you wouldn't mind having a think on.

1. Height, far to readily available, the threshold should be higher, 6ft4" isn't really that tall, it should be 6ft5" or even 6ft6".

2. The relationship between Height and speed, I don't know many 6ft6" giants that can run as quickly as Salah. I'm sure there may be the odd one, but on the whole, not many.

1 - disagree, average height in the Premier League is sub-6ft tall so 6'4" is plenty tall enough for HEI methinks

2 - agree on that but not sure it's overly applicable to the game

1) I think HEI is about as rare as it should be. Raising the limit would make it very rare, and as it's an SA that isn't purchasable, it's better that there is a fair amount of it from the start.

2) I agree that very fast very tall players are unusual. Do you think there have been too many of them in recent games?

I'm 6ft9" myself, I know first hand about height and speed hahahahahahaha.
I'm seeing quite a few 9 speed height CBs about, then I'm seeing 9 speed strikers I know are very quick, just think it's maybe worth looking into mate.

Had a nice wander down my old memories of Match Of The Day's Goal of the Month episodes from the 90s when reading some of these. It's the only list I'd expect Beattie to feature in alongside Veron.
