I would imagine most would shoot this down, but maybe someone can adjust my idea to make it better.
League cup is participated by all non Europe players. Why not make a knockout league cup competed by all the leagues. Like a third tier Europe cup. One match straight knockout.
Like I said probably get shot down but maybe someone can suggest something better.

Just to be clear this would replace the league cup in every country.
Also it wouldn't need to be every season. Maybe every other season.
Would give some good competition for those in lower leagues and a good bit of interest.

Potential format could be
19 teams from each league
19 X 8 = 154 teams
2nd round will have 128 teams with some get byes.
First and second round you can't draw a team from own country.
Again there are people better at this than me so any ideas would be great.
