This is something I've been thinking about so I'm putting it out there for opinions. I do not think many will support me if honest.

With the introduction of 1 UE point for 10m cash, 1 UE loyalty points every 5 turns, and also 4 UE points at Eos.

My question is this .....

Is there to many points now. Most teams now have lots of players with dual SA , that it's got to the point SAs are not special any more.
My belief is we should keep the points for cash but do away with the loyalty points and Eos points.

Like I said I'd imagine you will all disagree lol, as you love your points.

Any thoughts?

I think it's fine. 5 loyalty and 3 eos = 8 points for a season, it's still only enough for 1 x SA which pers season is a good incentive imo. £10 for 1 point also seems a fair formula too I think.
Personally I like it the way it is and tbf by season 5 it shouldn't be a detrimental thing that most teams have a squad with plenty of SA's for their starting 11 and sometimes beyond.

Loyalty points every 5 turns only come into it from S2 and I think it's a good incentive. Like Nat says it's only 8 a season given which is one SA.

Cash wise it's massive money to pay for points so it's up to the player which way they want to go with it. I thinks it's good the way it is. 119 is the only game overloaded with dual SA I would say because the quality of player was so great to begin with

I think the amount of points is fine but you should only be allowed to use the loyalty points given from season 2 onwards for sa’s & not adding pot! Think there is too many pot players in 117 i have a squad full :D & these pot players that are added season 1 by smaller clubs should be highly sort after. I dont think pot is as good as it used to be and many managers have said their pot players rarely rise so if there were less but had good rises then i think it would benefit the smaller clubs even more with swaps! If a new manager takes over a team after season 1 with originally allocated ue points obviously they should still be able to add pot. Also think maybe reducing the amount of wks you can swap a pot player from 10wks to 5wks?

Agree that pot doesn't seem as good as it used to be.

As a small club, i think UE points should be more easily accessible tbh. I think buying them is far to expensive for small teams. Since the start, ive received enough UE points to add 5 POT to players and 4 SA's which is nothing when considering the total players within your squads.
Agreed, potential needs to be rewarded more for smaller clubs because we have very little bargaining power when it comes to swapping players.
I think buying UE points still favours big teams who can just go out and splash £200m on points for example. I like the idea of rewarding teams with UE points by tying them in to the teams net revenue. This would encourage teams to lower their wage bill, swap high salaried players, deter big clubs from spending all cash on UE points and to keep a healthy positive balance.

Just a thought.....

I’m with Natty on this, can’t really say much more to i, apart from one question though, do you mean 10m for 1 point? Not £10?
