Post subject:  How to display your report on the forum (Adobe & Mac)

Adobe

Open up your latest turn

Go to Tools -- Select & zoom -- Snapshot tool

Then a crosshair should appear instead of the usual pointer. Highlight the relevant information that you would like to upload onto the forum.

Now open up your Paint software

Whilst in paint go to Edit then paste (this should have pasted the highlighted area of your turn onto the paint software programme)

Now save your paint software with the relevent information into your documents.

Now go on to the website http://tinypic.com and select browse. Find your saved paint document which you wanted to upload onto the forum.

Now click the big green box that says 'Upload Now'

They should now thank you for uploading the image and show a heading called links to share.

Now there should be a heading called 'IMG code for Forums and message boards' now copy & paste the little link/code that is under this heading

Now open up the thread in the forum you want to upload your squad into.

Now paste into your post, then click post message.

Finally, there should be your squad in Adobe version.


Mac

How to Snapshot on Mac OS

Taking a Snapshot of Any Area on the Screen

Press Command + Shift + 4. Your pointer becomes a crosshair.

Drag the crosshair to enclose the portion of the screen you want to snap.

Let go of the crosshair. When you hear a click, your Mac has taken a picture of that portion of your screen. The picture will be found on your hard drive with the file name "Picture 1," or a subsequent number if you've snapped more than one picture.

Double-click the picture icon to launch SimpleText to see what you've snapped, or open the file in a graphics application to perform more sophisticated editing.


Taking a Snapshot of a Single Window

Press the Caps Lock key.

Press Command + Shift + 4. Your pointer becomes a bull's-eye.

Position the bull's-eye over the window or dialog box that you want to snap.

Let go of the bull's-eye. When you hear a click, your Mac has taken a picture of the window or dialog box. The picture will be found on your hard drive with the file name "Picture 1," or a subsequent number if you've snapped more than one picture.

Double-click the picture icon to launch SimpleText to see what you've snapped, or open the file in a graphics application to perform more sophisticated editing.
